In the movie the relationship between the awakened human and the matrix is presented as a relentless war, where the matrix does everything to pull the human back into the dream. In this it is consistent with what Papaji said, that when you awaken all the demons of the past will rise to pull you back in. What is different in reality is in my opinion that the fleeing from that pull is not necessary. If you flee from the matrix aka the dream, you believe, that it is real. On a recent psilocybin journey I was told, that the only mistake you can make is to believe the dream is real. So fleeing from it, or fighting it, is believing it is real, isn't it? What do you say? Of course I see that displaying a non moving hero is not an option in a Hollywood action movie. I think Bertolucci shows a non moving character quite well in Little Buddha.

In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna tells the prince though that he needs to participate in the war. I read that Ramana said, that this war represents the struggle with the vasanas. I'm a bit unsure there, how do you see vasanas? They are triggered by the dream, right? So fighting them is believing the dream is real?
